Gayle's son is in jail, possibly for life. How did this happen? Apparently, Travis and a couple of his friends kidnapped some boy and beat the shit out of him. The state wants to try him as an adult. Poor Gayle. Travis is her baby, the child she had the year before her oldest daughter had -her- first kid. And Travis is such a -nice- boy. I don't understand how these things happen.
