You hold the line and stay the course
The new Sarah Mcwhatsherface cd that Kelly's been playing at work constantly has wormed its way into my head, which sort of makes it an interesting place to be.
I notice that none of you are giving me new jobs. What's up with that?
This evening I was wandering around Walgreens, picking up prescriptions and shopping for Q-tips. If I were a Q-tip, I was trying to reason, where would I be? I spotted the sign over the aisle that said "eye and ear" or something like and thought 'aha! if i were a Q-tip, I would likely be there. I wandered up and down the aisle for a good 10 minutes trying to convince myself that the Q-tips were there and I just wasn't seeing them.
Eventually, I found them four aisles over with the baby stuff. This vaguely makes sense, but since it doesn't make sense in a specific, definable way I'm still a bit baffled.
By the way, thanks for all your support, everyone. (By everyone, I mean those of you who have expressed concern for me and my cervix.)
I had a dream last night that TYD killed Julia Stiles. I am -so- not down with that...all of you, quit offing my idols!
Aaaanyways, the real point of all of this (aside from my Q-tip story) is to mention that I think I'm having a party at the end of the month, a combination 'happy leap year', 'yay katie's gay', 'i have furniture now and more friends than places to sit even still' type thing, and you're all invited.
That's cause I (heart) you.
