Slowly does it
The show last night was so great, and I'm officially cooler than you because I went. (The fact that I wouldn't have even known about it if Jeff hadn't said something isn't important here.) It was crowded but not packed, using the 'noone spilled beer on me and I didn't hit anyone in the head with my bottle' frame of reference from the old days, and everyone was grooving. It was a fully positive vibe.
The man, who I originally thought had a prosthetic leg, asked us if the bus would take Canadian money. Moments before, he'd been talking to himself about ice cream and this has for some reason made me suspicious of him. I don't want to talk to him about Canadian coins, because I'm too busy seeing how often I can get my arm or leg to brush my companion's before he notices and moves away. "I have this radio, see," he says, "and it only gets the university station. I have to listen to NPR. It doesn't go up or down." I don't know anything about fixing recalcitrant radios so I just nod, but fortunately right then our bus pulls up and it's time to go.
Jeff and I have, through much research, ruthless observation, and of course boatloads of genius, located both the U-distric and Ballard offices of the ghostbusters.
Let's have a hallelujah for the combined powers of fotolog and Hay-den. This new Hay-den method is a vast improvement over the last. Maybe I should send my asian double an email to tell him how fab you are.
You know, my anonymous post-answerer is right...it -is- a beautiful world I live in.
