silverfae9It's sunny and fabulous out, and I'm getting a new camera.
Although, as usual, the two aren't related.
My new camera is coming this weekish, and it's just like Jeff's, a decision (I repeat) that I made independant of the fact that Jeff has one too. I tried my hand at ebay and won the camera and a couple nifty extras for less than I would've paid for the camera, so I'm pretty excited. Now we'll be that couple that can't walk more than three feet without taking a picture of something, which is usually just Jeff's territory.
In other news, it's been a beautiful day. We went to gas works and I watched dogs, kites, and babies, all things I find exciting. We had tea, I bought a game...it's been a good day.
Yes, we've been acquiring board games. If anyone has an urge for Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly, Scrabble, Twister, or Chez Geek, come hang out with us.
We'll be waiting.

Date: 2004-02-23 01:33 am (UTC)Both my daughters use SLR cameras for their college assignments as well. My father loved photography, then I took it in college, and now my girls are studying it as well, so that's 3 generations of photographers.
Glad to hear you get to be a shutterbug too.
