This was a good weekend.
Pete was here, and my roomates cooked every night. I love it when other people cook things for me.
Tonight, there was a bit of an impromptu party. Jackie's sister and friend are here to help her move, and then Jude and Val showed up, and then Chris stopped by. Then Jude and Val left, and Pete left, and Chris left, and Jackie's people left...for a whole three minutes until Amanda and Jimmie and Cindy showed up. We moved into Jackie's room to play Taboo, because we didn't want to wake the kids in the other half of the duplex. Then...Jackie's people came back. And -then- Nathan showed up with my bookcase and Dave came over. So many people in my house at one time. It was such a thrilling thing.
Also, Pete bought me blocks that are also candy, and I may possibly have never been so excited about anything in my whole life. Well...maybe not, but the block/candy thing is -really- cool.
I like having a house.

I get my car back on Wednesday. Color me excited. Also, instead of costing between 1 and 2 thousand dollars to fix, it's going to be between three and five hundred. This means...I'm going shopping on Friday! Woo!

Also, I bonded with the (other) cute guy that works at Edys today. He has a tattoo on his wrist of the Orin from the Neverending Story, only I guess that people never get that that's what it's from, so that made me cool. Yes, I already was cool, but now the cute guy realizes this too. Yes, I have a boyfriend that I love, but that so doesn't mean I can't look.
