Woe and other vague concepts

I'm working right now on the soundtrack for World Apart, the next screenplay the boys are going to try and option off. I'm working on it because the two have vaguely nazi-ish beliefs about music, and I've done soundtracks before. The story is about two kids who grow up together, then grow apart. The boy becomes a football star, she becomes a somewhat ass-kicking-based-on-samantha female. They go to the same college, meet back up, hate each other, something bad happens to her, and they fall in love. Basic. However, the problem is that I have just learned that my stereo (yes, the new one) is an absolute bastard and there's something wrong with the tape deck. So...I don't know exactly what I should do, aside from be terribly annoyed.

We might be getting a kitten. This is exciting news, because kittens are fun.
