How to have a future
Jun. 12th, 2002 06:36 pmToday, when I left to run my errands, the pavement was steaming. I believe this was only beautiful because I was inside my nicely air conditioned car. But it really was cool.
Then, I went to get a haircut. The lady there told me that I should consider going to beauty school, but I told her that I thought the combination of terms is a contradiction when applied to myself. She didn't understand. However, it is nice to know that I have an alternative career if this whole being fabulous thing doesnt work out.
Now Jackie and I are off to see the new Star Wars. It's important to see this with someone else who doesn't care at all about the first three, because now I'm allowed to like it. You're not allowed to like it in the presance of Star Wars freaks. They become offended.
There was an 11-th hour reprieve from the back thing today because my appointment card had the wrong time and so I missed it. Yay indeed. Rescheduled for two weeks from now.
