Today I spent several hours smearing paint around on a canvas. I'll be the first to admit that I have the talent of a mutant goat when it comes to painting, but it's very very relaxing and I like doing it. And that's really all that counts, now, isn't it?

Then I went and re-read my livejournal from the beginning, which took awhile. Paul, apparently my plan once I moved was to drink tea with you on your roof until dawn. I don't know if there was a reason for this or if I just decided it would be a good idea. Regardless, looks like I have to get a non-suck job so I can get a non-suck car and follow through with that.

Eric reminded me tonight that it's almost 5 years since we decided we wanted to move to Seattle. Too bad he missed and went to California instead.

Well then

This might be a little bit of vanity, but look who was one of the poems of the day for Saturday, August 2: http://www.poetsagainstthewar.org/poemsoftheday.asp

I'm kinda proud of myself.

The song "Scared" by The Tragically Hip (Day for Night, 1994) makes my fingertips ache.
