I finished Anna Karenina today, and I'm pretty sad about this. Frustratingly, at the end they have these cheesy book club questions...shit like "Is Tolstoy sexist?" "Suppose Anna had married Levin, rather than Karenina. Would her marriage have been a success?" "Can Anna Karenina be read as a cautionary tale, a warning against adultery?" and they just make me want to vomit. I mean, let's not -encourage- people to miss the point, please.

Then again, maybe I'm missing the point. Maybe the point really is whether or not the author is sexist in a pre-revolutionary Russia where polite society talks a lot about "the women problem"...women included.

Maybe it isn't a warning against adultery...maybe it's a warning against trains.

Argh.

My horoscope that's supposed to be emailed to me every day, um, isnt...and this worries me a bit.

Some creature has decided that it would be a really good idea to bite the back of my left knee about 5 times. Is there, like, a spider in my pants that no one told me about?

Phone call from Mark today, who has evidently stopped being kidnapped by a bunch of naked massage therapists. He was pretty entertaining to hang out with and I think I want to try and hook him up with Megan, so I'll have to give him a call.

Mmmmm, pizza.
