To the nines
Nov. 7th, 2003 04:25 pmOn my way into work this morning, on the ground by the curb, was a blue diskette. I stopped and stared at it; what was on it? Someone walking by took offense at the fact that I was staring at a random diskette and said 'what are you looking at? It's just a disk.' I said "I think that on it is the future, but that the future is protected by a virus and if I touched the disk I might die." They looked at me like I was on drugs and left.
In a corner between a wall and a door was an empty bottle of MD 20/20. So someone had a good night.
A sign on a lamppost said "Eat Donuts! Be Happy!"
If today doesn't count as a square on life's bingo card, I don't know what will.
I so bought a hat. It's very 20's a soft and I think I'm in love with it. Plus, I'm going to the ocean tomorrow with a boy that is potentially the cutest one in all of Seattle.
