Full disclosure on the not-getting-the-job-because-feet-are-wrong-size issue is: not only were they the wrong size, they're two way different sizes. It appears that my right foot is a size 5 1/2 and my left is a 6 1/2. This seems like a whole lot of deviation between feet now and I've become, if possible, even more self-conscious about them. And honestly, my feet are a ridiculous thing to be self-conscious about.
