Mar. 23rd, 2004 09:34 pmJeff and I went to see Nicholson Baker read tonight. Maybe now that I've seen him, I'll quit forgetting who he is. When we got there, this happened:
"Can I see your tickets before you go in?"
"....Tickets?"
"You don't have tickets?"
"Uh, nope."
"Oh well, I have a few extra, so now you do."
And in we walked.
Kathleen and Sean were there, and Kathleen told me that she's been watching some animal planet show that happens in Miami and she realizes now that I'm not exaggerating when I talk about all the alligators and what a nuisance they are. So that was a little victory for me.
