We did indeed see Rear Window last night. I believe that in order to get a full Hitchcock experience it has to be seen in a theatre, where there is every possibility that the person behind you may reach foreward and try to strangle you. The Grand Illusion is the perfect theatre for this. I (heart) that place, and I'm glad it's back open again.
Yesterday was a good day for Gasworks, so after I got off of work, that's where we went. As we were walking around by the water towards the big hill, we notice that there was a girl with an interesting ensemble and another woman taking pictures of her. When we got closer, we realized that her skirt and top were made out of The Stranger, that she was holding a big orange ball that said The Stranger and that what we were seeing was, in fact, some sort of photo shoot for The Stranger. We were pretty impressed with ourselves; or at least, I was pretty impressed with us.
