Happy Halloween, my homies.
Last night, because of Cat's amazing powers of persuasions (read: "what! why wouldn't you go to parties?") we went party hopping. I was indeed Elvis, only partially successfully, and Jeff was Linus and Cat was 80's and Rod was the flu shot...and that got the best reactions.
And oh man, do I love me some parties full of random strangers in costume.

But now I have a house full of moldy pumpkins and dirty dishes, and I really need to get things done today. It was awful exciting, though, when I got up and turned on my computer and it said "no, you didn't sleep till noon! You only slept till 11! That gives you an extra hour of slacking!" which I plan to take full advantage of.

I'm still working on the crock pot getting, because Bed Bath and Beyond only had size fucking huge, and I don't need one quite that big. But I totally got a steamer. And more yarn for knitting. Hello, my name is samantha domestic, of the Seattle domestics.

So far today, I've:

Gone to the grocery store
Done the dishes twice
Taken out the recycling
Disposed of three moldy pumpkins
Steamed some broccoli, mixed some of it with some rice and cheddar cheese, and eaten it
Made some -bitchin- potato leek soup
Started a scarf for my stepmother

And folks, I'm tired. I think it's time to watch television and drink milk. And knit.

But seriously kids, there is so much food in my house right now. Are you hungry? Come over. There hasn't been this much food here since I moved in. It's probably a good thing I didn't end up having stuff in the house to make brownies with.

Also, that George Nethercutt ad that's all outtakes? Weird.
