First of all, I never set my alarm. I'd been arguing with myself all evening about going to work early and Getting Shit Done vs. going in at my normal time and seeing the cute boy (because, you know, I like cute boys), and I guess I never came to a decision. So I got here 45 minutes late.
Unfortunately so did my compatriot, which means that nothing got started until late, which would have also been ok if the stupid system hadn't exploded.
Dear IT,
Would you please warn us when you plan to do 'upgrades' so we know not to plan to get anything done for three days?
Also, I have neither packed nor cleaned my apartment, which both need to be done tonight as 1) I'm leaving tomorrow and 2) I'm having a houseguest on my return.
Did I mention that the system exploded and I haven't gotten anything done? Grump.
