Good morning, Internets. Stuff goes as follows:

Random 10 (from a random iPod shuffle):

1. Franz Ferdinand - Dark of the Matinee
2. Billie Holiday - Everything I Have is Yours
3. Poe - Choking the Cherry
4. The Shins - New Slang
5. Badly Drawn Boy - Plan B
6. Eels - Dog Faced Boy
7. The Libertines - Don't Be Shy
8. Gomez - Revolutionary Kind
9. The Tragically Hip - Greasy Jungle
10. Modest Mouse - Blame it on the Tetons

What is the total amount of music files on your computer?
Not a lot - 253. My cd drive is dying and so it takes ages to convince it to work out one cd, and I haven't been home to wrastle with it.

The last CD you bought is:

I got these three at the same time-
The Killers - Hot Fuss
The Libertines - The Libertines
Low Millions - Ex Girlfriends

What is the song you last listened to before this message?

Blonde Redhead - Misery is a Butterfly

Write down five songs you often listen to or that mean a lot to you.

The Tragically Hip - Scared
Eels - Manchild
Poe - Amazed
Franz Ferdinand - Darts of Pleasure
Remy Zero - Marigols

Name three artists/bands you adore:

The Dandy Warhols - I wouldn't even be exaggerating if I said that Not If You Were the Last Junkie On Earth changed my life. It was the first time I'd discovered a band outside of the radio and understood what music really could be.

Eels - Uncle E is much cleverer than I, so it's a good thing he makes albums. There's an Eels song to fit every single one of my moods and I can never tell what they're going to do next.

Poe - She's saucy and beautiful and hurt all at the same time, and I'm never sure if I want to hug her or be her. And she's always experimenting with music and its possiblities, putting things in songs that you normally wouldn't hear there. She's perfect.

Cat and I ventured down to Archie's today in search of fun useless stuff, and boy did we find it. I've been to Ballard more this weekend than I have in many months all put together. Archie's was funny because, my St. Augustine homies, it's where Materialistic gets most of its stuff.
Man I miss that store.

Then we had milkshakes and talked about boys, which is pretty much what you do when you're a couple of single girls. And there were french fries. So that was all good.

Somehow tomorrow's Monday and it's work again, but I don't feel recharged enough for another week full of meetings. I feel, vaguely, like I've missed a train.
Douglas Coupland. Tuesday. Be there or be trapezoidal.
