Oh, Hunter. There -is- madness in any direction, at any time. I hope you like what you see on the other side.
I dedicate this weekend of drunkeness, debauchery, and handicrafts to you.

Almost all of the plans that I had for this holiday weekend didn't actually happen. Instead, I drank way too much, learned to embroider, wrote some letters, and kissed a boy I shouldn't have been kissing.
That last one, actually, is a habit that I really need to cut out. The trouble is that I like kissing boys, even if I don't always like the boys I'm kissing.

My French is going along surprisingly well, in that I'm starting to remember how you put things together, even if I can't actually do it. When she reads back the story we've been translating, I understand at least enough to get the gist.
I am not, however, ready to go to France yet.

It's been a pleasant weekend, even if I didn't ever make it out of town. The weather has been gorgeous and I'm sure that my plumeria will be blooming this year. And that will be awesome. Now, it's time to make another batch of Bitchin Potato Leek Soup.
