Well, I guess everyone did, which is why they all looked at me pityingly when I told them I was headed to this conference. They're also looking at me pityingly because of the subject matter, but honestly, I like the business of sponsored research! Sort of like how I like the business of copyright law.
Donovan continues to be entertaining in that "I don't know how I picked you up but I intend to be amused for however long you're staying" sort of way. And he's preoccupied with the idea of a person making potato leek soup. Maybe if I decide I like him I'll make some for him.
In the meantime, tomorrow there's an 05-05-05 party at someone's house, and I guess I'll probably go to that. The only time I've ever met any of these people, they've been in costume. I wonder if there will be wigs this time.
