May. 13th, 2006 11:02 amI have come down with something yucky, which means that I did not go to work yesterday, although I did go to Oscar's BFA show last night, because Oscar is awesome.
As I was leaving (to head to the BLVD opening) Jon called to see if I still wanted to go see Gavin's band play. (This is too many people. I need a diagram.) I did, but when we got to the Comet it turned out that the show had been canceled, so instead we wandered in the direction of fried macaroni and cheese wedges and hung out.
Which was cool because most of the time when I see Jon he's got his wife with him or at least one of his kids around to wrangle, and his family is awesome but it interferes with real hanging out. So that was fun.
Today I'm off to Greenwood, as per usual, and I haven't yet made plans for tonight. I'm trying to not book myself so far in advance these days.
