Last night, Sarah humored me and went with me to see the new Julia Stiles movie. She's so fabulous and wonderful. Jonas was about 10 feet away from her at the MTV studios a few weeks ago, and this means that he now owes it to me to become famous so that he can introduce us. She's studying English at Columbia, and this is like what I could have been with, you know, more talent and better looks. These smart actresses are raising the bar for all of us plain smart girls. It isn't enough to be smart anymore. Now we have to be smart and beautiful and talented and make lots of money.

My toe had stopped being swollen, but it started again in the middle of the night and I -dont know why-. Sarah and Jesse keep asking me if it's an ingrown toenail, but I don't know because I've never had one before.
