The prettiest thing

silverfae9So I've brought home one of the myrtle trees from the store in an effort to nurse it back to health. This means that I've also brought back two small slugs which I've named Rosencrantz and Guildenstern because I can't tell them apart. Wish me luck; it was always my mom that had the green thumb.
Last week I received in the mail a survey from the English department, who are doing their five year review and want to know what I'm doing. It's been sitting on my desk, menacing me for being a loser, and this sucks. I really, really could use a new job--you know, before I get a clown suit and an AK-47 and find a bell tower somewhere so I can thin out the neighborhood. I have to do -something- that's not retail, and I have to do it soon. The plan was to have a new job by the end of the month, but that's next week so I'm thinking maybe I should extend the deadline.
Also, Saturday.
