Yesterday, Jeff unearthed from his building's recycle bins some McCall's, Ladies Home Journal, Saturday Evening Post, and National Enquirers from longer ago than there has been samantha. They're really fantastic, and oddly non-sequential. The range is anywhere from 1961 to 1976 or so, and I have any number of theories as to why these are the ones that were kept or thrown out.

Also, some superfabulous buttons that I'm going to sew onto, uh, something.

There is a blogger meetup happening right now that I'm not at, and not just because I hate the word 'blog' and because last month's freaked me out. I stayed home to be a grownup and do my taxes, mostly because I'm broke and greedy and want my return (which is minimal and pathetic but will mostly fund a new camera that I don't need but can't live without.)

Kelly has brought a small bird into the store. It's name is Maytag and it's grey and makes noises like a video game. We've decided to ignore each other.
