Got to get you into my life

Jeff and I finally saw the last Lord of the Rings the other day, and while it was good and all my Oscar votes still go for anything related to In America and Pirates of the Caribbean. Cute kids with accents and Johnny Depp? No contest.

Out of the blue the day before yesterday I got an email from a guy with my last name, looking to see if we're related, and it looks like a yes: my great grandfather and his grandfather seem to have been brothers. This is pretty exciting because when my grandpa Angelo died in 1989 all contact with the Mastridge family was cut off via my vindictive nan. So whee.

Also, many thanks to Mrs. Dayment for the neat-o tshirt. It's just a touch too big but not enough to notice and is totally fabulous.

Sigh....s'true.
