Oct. 12th, 2005 10:10 amSo I got a sort of strange email from the Seattle PI today:
Hi Samantha. I'm wondering if this is the same Samantha who posts
of metroblogging. I googled your name.
, I'm Kery Murakami and I'm a reporter from the PI. A couple of months ago I
started this column in the paper called Life in the City. It is also online.
http://blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com/lifeinthecity/
The point is to have little anecdotes and observations that cumulatively
paint a picture of the city, i.e. the Metropolitan Diary in the NYT.
I love your posts on metroblogging and was wondering if i could use your
post about the telephone booths from the online.
Also I'd love it if you would post your observations and stuff on our little
thing.
After polling everyone in the immediate vicinity, I decided to email her back and tell her to go ahead...even though I wrote a post about photo booths.
