I just spent the last 5 hours making doughnuts. It was excellent. Now, however, I think I'm dying of fasnacht poisoning. Dear god, so many doughnuts.

Fasnachts are the bestest. We used to celebrate Faschnat Day in German class by deep-frying pilsbury biscuit dough, and then coating them with powdered sugar or cinnamon. The whole second floor of my highschool would smell like oil for weeks afterwards, it was great :)
