All you need is vodka and honesty.
Apr. 18th, 2002 09:50 pmFor some reason I always feel a bit maudlin at the end of the semester. Change. Responsibilities. I feel as though I have to take a step back now and again to make sure that I am, indeed, going in the direction I wish to be headed. Except...I'm not sure where that is.
Not much news on the car front, except the stupid yuppie got his ass kicked in a clever verbal manner by my mother, after he jerked me around for three days. I want my independance back...I promise, I wont wreck it any more!
On the pain front, I'm kinda beginning to worry a bit. If I raise my arms too high or dont go down stairs carefully enough, my back pulls and hurts in this bizzare, slightly scary, taking my breath away sort of way. I think I may have been a bit too cavalier about this injury, but I can't go to the chiropractor until I have a car back.
In other news:

What Beatles' song are you?
You are the song "Yesterday." Paul McCartney thought you up in a dream. He woke up one morning humming your beautiful melody wondering where he had heard it before. He didn't think he could come up with something quite so lovely. But you know what? He could. And he did. You can officially say that Paul McCartney dreamed of you. Orginally, your lyrics were "Scrambled eggs, ooh my baby how I love your legs." Aren't you glad Sir Paul changed them? Paul and Yoko Ono got in a little disaggreement about you, for the Anthology things, Paul requested that the credits for you read "McCartney/Lennon" but Yoko refused. You are also the most covered Beatles song. Now how cool is that?

(There was supposed to be a music diva thing here, but Poe wasn't one of the choices, so I didn't care.)
Also, Pete had orchids sent to me at work today. They're a very pretty deep purple color in a purple vase, although according to him, they were supposed to be white in a blue vase. Either way, I enjoy them highly.
